HTT-04 Cylinder pressure sensor

The most commenly used sensor type is the HTT-04 sensor with thread M14*1,25. The HTT-04 sensor head is available with different tube length and different cable lenght between sensor head and SCU. The HTT sensor has a armored steel cable for installation at harsh environments. More than 10000 sensors are de- livered for different closed loop control  applications.

CPS-01 Cylinder pressure sensor

The CPS-01 sensor is specially designed for application on medium- and high speed engines. The temperature compensated pressure output is a 4...20 mA signal, calibrated in the range of 0...300 bar. The miniaturized CPS sensor (M10*1) is installed at cylinder head, where heat can be dissapeated by the cylinder cooling system.

IPT Injection- and compression pressure sensor

A field application for the IPT sensor is, for example: monitoring of injection pressure on  fuel oil pumps of 2-stroke Diesel Engines or pressure monitoring of common rail injection systems of Gas- or Diesel Engines.

EPM-XP Electronic Pressure Indicator                                        This battery powered Electronic Indicator EPM-XP provides important measurement data for engine dia- gnostics directly at the point of use. It measures the peak pressure (Pmax) and calculates the com- bustion pressure (Pcomp) curve from a number of pressure cycles. The additional software calculates IMEP, IPOWER incl. p/v diagram. The stored data can be transferred via USB port to PC. Speed range: 40-1500 RPM

EPM-XC Engine Analyzer

EPM-XC analyzer is mainly used to carry out an examination of the combustion process of diesel engines to provide the user with information about inefficient operation of the engine or cylinder wear. This information helps the engineers to optimise the performance of diesel engines and to plan maintenance on an early stage before breakdown of components.

The EPM-XC engine analyzer was also developed to optimize the application for Marine Gas Engines where knocking combustion produces chan- ges in the spectroscopic composition and energy of  the cylinder pressure signal.

CMS Combustion Monitoring System

The CMS Cargo Box developed by IMES allows pressures to be mo- nitored on up to 20 cylinders and based on the data acquired used for the setting and optimising of engine operating parameters .


With a special emphasis on dual-fuel Gas Engines, CMS Cargo Box targets both power plants and dual fuel diesel electric (DFDE) propulsion and onboard power generation systems on LNG carriers.
